WHO WE ARE

Abrasileirar is a company dedicated to Portuguese Language, Intercultural Training and Brazilian Market education for foreign professionals and multicultural teams. Through language teaching, development of awareness about Brazil’s social conventions and promotion of insights on the Brazilian market, we seek to make our learners master linguistic, cultural, historical and business skills for their professional duties in and with Brazil.

OUR VALUES

In our programs, we propose that, in addition to the study of linguistic aspects themselves, language learning becomes the basis for the integration of habits, customs, culture and way of thinking and acting of Brazilians for life and for business. For this, we seek to
Develop the learner’s linguistic and communicative skills;
Assist the learner in the process of adaptation and acculturation, providing social well-being and enabling the development of behavioral, cognitive and affective skills to deal with cultural differences;
Raise awareness about the social conventions that govern our society, promoting harmonious coexistence within different nationalities in personal and professional contexts;
Promote learner integration with Brazil and Brazilians and vice-versa.

Through our programs, we seek to work the language in a contextualized way. For us, it is not enough to know the linguistic rules of Portuguese; for full communication, it is necessary to master the rules of use of each context and therefore we create opportunities for learners to use the language in a real and meaningful way for specific communication targets. By developing fluency and decreasing inhibition via real use of language, we make each learner achieve his/her own goals by the end our programs.
